EtreLuxe India Unveils a Range of Exquisite Beds by Poltrona Frau

New Delhi, Feb 2021 :– In 1912, Renzo Frau founded Poltrona Frau in Turin, Italy. The century old, high-end Italian furniture brand Poltrona Frau designs and produces luxury sofas, armchairs, beds, storage units, cabinets, chairs, tables, furnishing accessories, and directional systems. A range of chic and functional beds by Poltrona Frau is launched in India by EtreLuxe India. These beds showcase one-of-kind craftsmanship, functional design and utmost comfort.

John-John Bed: Jean-Marie Massaud designs the John-John Bed instilling it with a relaxed and natural elegance. The two large, comfortable headboard cushions recall the characteristic backrest of a sofa in terms of the elegant dynamism of the surfaces. The delicate and subtle folds obtained thanks to the meticulous hand processing enhance the tactility of the leather. The structure of the John-John Bed headboard is made from solid beech and poplar with MDF infill and padding in polyurethane foam. The cushions are padded in goose down and polyester wadding and attached to the structure by the Pelle Frau® leather upholstery. The bed frame is made from solid beech and poplar with padding in polyurethane foam and is designed to accommodate an ad hoc bed surface consisting of a series of beechwood slats that are fixed to the central crossbar.

Volare Bed: With Volare, Roberto Lazzeroni outlines his light and airy vision of the classic four-poster bed. The precise design gives rise to a large structure, luxurious in terms of its processing and natural materials, yet discrete and measured at the same time. The Volare Bed becomes an oasis of comfort and relaxation, perfect for the middle of the room and for large spaces. A piece of furniture that is warm and welcoming in terms of its colours and padding, and in its combinations of leather, saddle-leather, wood and fabric. The four-poster structure of the Volare bed, in solid ash with triangular cross-section and moka finish, tapers towards the top, gradually becoming thinner and lighter. The footboard and bed frame boards are made of tulipwood and entirely upholstered in Cuoio Saddle Extra or Pelle Frau® leather, just like the headboard.

Giselle Bed: Giselle is a bed that evokes a sensation of extreme lightness. It was as if the bed had entered the room on tiptoes, almost weightless. It then reveals its generous, imposing and bold headboard, embellished with simple, austere stitching that divides it up into four cushioned areas. Lightly inclined, it is the ideal support for reading, working and conversing, as well as for resting. The frame is completely enveloped by high-impact upholstery, which is typical of Poltrona Frau.

Alta Fedeltà Bed: Deigned by Daniela Puppa, the Alta Fedeltà Bed is a bed that flirts with decorative elements and comfort. The slightly padded support is made of removable fabric from the Poltrona Frau collection and, like a comfortable dress, it covers the leather headboard to which it is attached with double braiding. The base of the bed, made from poplar plywood, is essential and compact. A spacious drawer made from multilayer wood is housed in the front footboard. The headboard, upholstered with polyurethane foam, has two wheels under it. All of the upholstery is in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System or Heritage leather.

Eosonno Bed: Soft and elegant lines. Comfortable design. The Eosonno bed designed by Luciano Pagani and Angelo Perversi has a slightly curved headboard, which envelops the mattress, almost embracing it. Four metal feet support the structure to give it a contemporary look. The headboard of the Eosonno Bed is made from seasoned beechwood with padding in polyurethane foam and dacron. The base is composed of spruce blockboard for the sides and poplar plywood for the footboard. The upholstery is in soft Pelle Frau® leather. The feet are available with polished aluminium or brushed aluminium colour finishes, or covered with 60 mm diameter leather.
