New Delhi, Feb 2021 :–
Czech lighting giant Sans Souci, well-known for crafting bespoke decorative lighting fixtures, glass objects and architecture features for projects around the world, has launched a stunning new chandelier titled Flamenco.
Designed by Jiri Krisica, the magnificent Flamenco chandelier features hand-blown glass pieces in a whimsical optical pattern, which are hung from the ceiling with polished stainless steel strings. Smitten with Spainʼs sights as well as its culture, designer Jiri Krisica was particularly touched by Andalusian flamenco dancers. Their performance, filled with emotion and passion, prompted him to imprint the movement and atmosphere into glass. This piece is indeed decorated by an optical pattern resembling the undulation of the dancersʼ skirts. The edges are equally waved, enhancing the overall dynamism.
This one-of-kind light installation sets the mood and elevates the ambiance of any kind of space. The Flamenco chandelier is available in two optical patterns, both evocative of Spain’s flamenco dancers. This distinctive lighting is striking and exudes a strong character. Furthermore, the Flamenco chandelier can be customised in various sizes and colours.
Sans Souci’s aim is to play with light and explore its form in different dimensions. It draws on the experiences of past generations of glass-makers, with the quality of work defined by the purely Czech origin of their products. The brand masters in creating original architectural features, such as railings, stairways, tables, skylights, columns, and others.
